Born expressly from the need in one of our renovation to have a wall-mounted lamp with a great presence at an affordable price, this piece was designed for our Apartment in Born project.
Our studio partnered with Barcelona-based brand METALWARE http://metalware.co/ developing an applique, sophisticated yet simple, detailed and of great quality.
Its 50cm diameter bushed brass disc is delicately folded on its axe, to nest an opal globe diffuser. The disc reflects warmly the globe light, whilst elegantly detaching from the wall it’s mounted on through a shadow as a butterfly would.
